We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join the onsite SEN provision at a welcoming and inclusive Catholic Primary School. This is a full-time, long-term position, perfect for someone with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Work closely with the SEN team and class teachers to deliver personalised learning plans.
Assist in creating a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters the academic and personal growth of all students.
Offer one-to-one and small group interventions to support specific learning and development goals.
Contribute to the ongoing assessment of pupil progress, ensuring individual needs are met effectively.Requirements:
Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
A strong understanding of strategies to support children with a range of SEN.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
A commitment to working as part of a supportive team to enhance the learning experience for all students.
