Payroll Senior

Payroll Senior required. My client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Bury St Edmonds and are seeking a payroll senior to join the friendly and growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own client portfolio of payrolls. This opportunity would most suit a candidate with extensive payroll knowledge.

Payroll Senior Position Overview

• Manage a portfolio of payrolls for a variety of clients
• Manage all pension administration matters, including setting up pension schemes for our clients
• Be the point of contact to your clients
• Assist/support other staff members with any payroll matters
• Deal with any adhoc enquiries as and when they arise

Suitable applicants will have previous experience working in accountancy practice environment, ideally in the payroll department.

Payroll Senior Position Requirements

• Payroll processing experience (essential)
• Experience using payroll software - preferably Sage
• Knowledge of HMRC processes
• Knowledge of pension schemes and auto-enrolment processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Suitable candidates will be CIPP qualified/part-qualified.
