The below job description will outline this position of: Mechanical Commissioning Engineer


Typically, this person will provide technical support for subsea equipment projects, acting as a liaison between customers, engineering teams, and project managers to ensure that the commissioned equipment meets project specifications and quality standards.

Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Commissioning Engineer:

  • Ensuring machines and associated equipment have been correctly manufactured
  • Diagnosing and fixing faults
  • Responsibility for the planning of all commissioning activities within company manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensuring test paperwork is correctly completed
  • Functional testing of equipment


Qualifications and requirement for the Mechanical Commissioning Engineer:


  • Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • HNC in electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in reactive maintenance role
  • Knowledge of subsea equipment (desirable)
