Job Overview:

The Mechanic and MOT Testerwill be responsible for conducting MOT tests on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Perform MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with regulatory standards
• Identify and report any faults or issues with vehicles
• Conduct necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure vehicles pass the MOT test
• Maintain accurate records of all tests conducted
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding test results and any required repairs
• Must hold valid qualifications

The Mechanic and MOT TesterThe ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, power tools, and possess mechanical knowledge

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify any potential problems
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Must hold valid qualifications
• Ability to commute to Bristol

The Package

• £35,000pa-£42,000pa
• Monday to Friday
• 28 days holiday
• Temp to Perm
• Based on site at Bristol
