Job Title: Paraplanner
Location: Ulverston
Salary: Up to £45,000 (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Hybrid Working Available
Overview:
We are working with a successful Wealth Management practice in Ulverston, looking to expand their team with an experienced Paraplanner. This is an exciting opportunity for a Diploma-qualified individual, or someone working towards it, to join a growing firm offering flexibility and career progression.
What will you do?
* Support Financial Advisors by researching financial products and preparing detailed suitability reports.
* Conduct cash flow modelling and inheritance tax (IHT) calculations.
* Ensure that all reports and recommendations adhere to compliance standards (FCA).
* Maintain and update client files, ensuring efficient and timely processing of business.
* Stay informed of industry regulations and contribute to team meetings.
What do you need?
* Diploma-qualified (DipPFS) or actively working towards it.
* Proven experience in a Paraplanning role, ideally in Wealth Management or IFA settings.
* Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* IT proficiency, including experience with financial systems and software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Office).
