2 positions = 1x days, 1x afternoon (not rotating)

Days - 06:00-14:00 (Mon-Fri)

Afternoons - 14:00 - 00:00 (Mon-Thurs)

We are recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Setter for a Precision Engineering business supplying into the Aerospace & Defence sectors. Due to increase of orders across their biggest customers as well as large investment throughout the business to maximise capacity, the growing business is looking to add a CNC Programmer/Setter to their day shift and their afternoon shift (2 roles)

What does it involve?

The company is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who has experience working within a fast-paced Sub-Contract Machine Shop to machine parts on their 3, 4 and 5 axis Milling, 9 axis Mill/Turn or Multi-axis Lathes with Live Tooling. Mazak/Mazatrol or Fanuc experience is essential.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

* Experienced CNC Machinist – skilled Programming/Setter/Operator.

* Competent with Mazak / Mazatrol or Fanuc controls (Essential)

* Offline Programming HyperMILL (advantageous)

* Creating and editing programs online and offline.

* Reading of technical drawings with both metric and imperial measurements.

* Understand of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)

* Previous experience in a sub-contract machine shop environment.

* Use of metrology tools - Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges etc.
