Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our clients team in South Ayrshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation within the warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely handling of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and process incoming stock and materials.
• Pick and fill orders from stock.
• Pack and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

A counterbalance lift truck and high reach certificate would be advantageous, but not essential.
