We currently have a new career opportunity to join us as an Accounts Assistant to be based at our offices in Peterborough. The role demands a dedicated and motivated individual who is focused on ensuring that all transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Processing of Timesheets and Expenses on weekly basis
Prepare and process payment runs (in different currencies)
Cash Book control and forecasting receipts and payments
Petty cash reconciliations
Invoicing, cash postings and Customer accounts reconciliation
Credit card expenses processing and journal preparation
Month End journals and reconciliations
Balance Sheet reconciliations
To assist in driving best practice within the business
Adhere to Group policies and processes within the department.
Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Financial Accountant
Skills and Experience
Experience running month end journals and reconciliations.
Experience dealing with balance sheet reconciliations
Excellent excel skills and systems understanding
A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment.
Specific Qualifications
Previous experience within an Accounts role.
Hold AAT level 2 or equivalent.
