Job Purpose:
As a Training Officer and Plumbing & Gas Tutor/Assessor, you will teach and mentor apprentices from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through their learning journey and helping them achieve their full potential. You will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of skilled trades professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in Plumbing and Gas at Level 3 and above.
Develop and adapt course materials to meet educational standards and industry needs.
Foster relationships with external parties and promote industry events and activities.
Ensure exceptional safety and quality in your work while leading by example.
Actively support apprentices' safety and welfare throughout their training journey.

Person Specification:
Essential Requirements:
Fully qualified Plumbing & Gas with relevant industry experience.
Strong technical abilities and up-to-date knowledge of plumbing and gas technology.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
Strong IT, administrative, and organizational skills.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience with government training schemes and National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).
Assessor qualifications (e.g., D32, D33, A1, or TAQA).
Teaching qualifications (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, or Cert Ed) are advantageous.
