Job Description

S3 Science is recruiting a Quality Technician to join our client based near Milton Keynes. Our client offers veterinary pharmaceuticals and vaccines. They are proud to be a global veterinary medicine provider who is dedicated to the health and welfare of animals. This is a contract role for two years starting immediately, offering a salary of £27,300 – £31,200.

As a Quality Technician you will be responsible for performing microbiology testing, isolator and clean room testing. This role also involves testing of finished products and intermediates in accordance with GMP, dossier and relevant pharmacopoeia requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* To perform and oversee testing of intermediate and finished products in accordance with GMP

* Microbiology testing and Training of personnel (Bioburdens, water testing, plate reading, sterility testing, growth promotion, Lungworm testing and Inactivation’s) in accordance with SOP’s

* Entering and locking of test results in SAP

* Supporting with investigations to identify root-cause and implementation of appropriate CAPA’s in the Quality Management System

* Update SOP’s, and specs ensuring they are current and relevant

* Provide training of test procedures to new members of the team

* To upload company procedures regarding GMP and always comply with UK pharmaceutical regulations

Job Requirements:

* Microbiology lab experience

* Knowledge of GMP compliance

* Experience with Quality Control testing

* Laboratory investigations

* Good Time Management in a high flow through laboratory

* Ability to identify deviations and raise events in the Quality Management System
