Who You Are
- Experienced in working within an operational customer-focused environment
- Knowledgeable in managing and supporting the bereaved
- Proficient in managing data storage and accessibility within an operational environment
- Skilled in managing enquiries and converting them into sales
- Adept at providing quality customer service and relationship management
- Knowledgeable in administrative process review and implementation
- Excellent working knowledge of IT systems, including MS Office, databases, and other relevant software packages
- Exhibit appropriate behaviors such as taking responsibility, being open, honest and respectful, actively listening and learning, and working together to find solutions
- Hold a clean driving license
- Available for a part-time position, 3 days per week
What the Job Involves
- Deliver customer relationship management for the cemeteries team supporting back office functions
- Support customers through the bereavement journey and facilitate all legal processes associated
- Actively track enquiries through to sales, supporting the financial position of the team
- Support operational teams through planning services that facilitate the needs of the bereaved and provide a realistic working environment
- Assist with the management and process for all sales aspects, meeting potential customers on site and providing guidance
- Update the booking system to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and a realistic work schedule for the operations team
- Assist with reviews of back-office functions for service improvements and support sales and customer satisfaction
- Report to senior staff the performance of internal recharges and any potential financial issues
- Process monthly overtime for the team ensuring accuracy of claims against work schedules
- Officiate at services when needed, facilitating operational elements and supporting the team
- Manage accurate details in relation to absence and attendance within the service
- Attend meetings as a representative or minute taker, ensuring accuracy and allocation of responsibilities
- Support the creation of relevant documents for frontline team members including safety information and risk assessments
- Assist in operational service procurement and ensure all legal and social responsibilities are met
- Maintain effective electronic document storage that complies with GDPR requirements
- Deputize for the Cemeteries Senior Support Officer when required
