Job Description

Adele Carr Recruitment is partnering with a growing company in Widnes in search for Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will be part of small accounts team, working closely with Financial Controller.

The role is full time office based in Widnes, successful candidate must be based in commutable distance from the office. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Salary is based on experience, between £26,000 to £28,000 per annum.

The role:

  • Maintain financial records
  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales invoicing
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Enter financial data into systems
  • Assist with credit control
  • Assist with financial reporting
  • Assist with month-end

Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience using accounting software like Xero,Sage or Quickbooks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
