Job Description

Highly successful and prestigious US Law Firm are seeking to hire a Practice Management Assistant into their Funds department in the London office to work with an industry renowned team who are collegiate, dynamic and ever expanding at present! This is a newly created role and will be offering:


  • £35-45,000 (experience dependent)
  • Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)

Practice Management Assistant Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining cooperative working relationships within the office and practice groups, responding to clients, staff, legal professionals, and vendor inquiries.
  • Assisting with Associate performance reviews, monitoring absences/leave, and monitoring attendance to client events and seminars.
  • Assist the BD team with planning team building exercises, team communications and practice group resources.
  • Maintaining attorney rosters, distribution lists, reports, and other practice group information.
  • Coordinating with HR for all vacancies and new hire processes.
  • Assisting the Practice Group Coordinator with managing work assignment policies, procedures and systems, including work assignment tracking, time-entry compliance etc.

Practice Management Assistant Key Skills & Requirements:


  • 1-3 years’ relevant experience within a law firm
  • Proficiency with programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Experience working with databases (e.g. viDesktop) and with (or ability to learn) document management systems (e.g., iManage)
  • Highly professional with ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
