Legal Counsel Regulatory

You will be integral to the business and assist on all regulatory matters and provide commercially focussed regulatory advice in relation to the products and services offered. This will include supporting the clearing house and across teams in the business, such as Regulation & Compliance, Market Access, Market Structure and Market Development and engaging with senior stakeholders. You will provide advice on any key regulatory changes impacting the commodity derivatives framework as well as contributing to responses to public consultations impacting the business and managing external counsel. Prior experience in advising on commodity derivative products is helpful. Knowledge of FCA rules, EMIR, MiFID II and MiFIR, is highly advantageous. This is a rare opportunity for a technically strong lawyer to join a dynamic organisation in a high calibre and collegiate team with interesting and varied work. You will have a strong background in financial services and/or UK financial regulatory law and will have trained and qualified at a top City law firm and have circa 2-5 PQE. The position is based in London and is mainly office based with some flexibility to accommodate home working.
