Our client is a major global law firm with an established and longstanding reputation in the UK, where they are headquartered.

Their London-based Insurance group is busy and continuing to grow. They advise clients including leading insurers and major brokers, as well as insured clients involved in construction projects from the commercial, retail, energy, urban regeneration, and infrastructure sectors.

The team is ambitious, highly regarded and friendly. They have grown significantly in recent years, and are now looking to hire additional solicitors with experience in claims involving construction professionals. The team handle a spectrum of interesting matters, including:

• wide ranging professional indemnity disputes (particularly defending claims against the full range of construction professionals);
• supporting other areas of the firm with Construction Professional Indemnity issues; and
• complex policy coverage matters.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have:

• A strong academic background;
• Training and most likely at least 2 years' PQE in claims involving construction professionals gained at a City, insurance, major regional or leading international firm with strong experience handling clients in major insurance undertakings.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability and experience to develop productive working relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels;
• A collegiate and collaborative approach, supporting the development of the practice and also the team's culture and values;
• Candidates with experience of both defence and coverage work would be of particular interest;
