Job Description

An exciting new opportunity to get started with a well-known bakery in the North of Glasgow!

We're seeking reliable and motivated individuals to become Production Operatives within our prestigious food production and manufacturing client.

With both day and night shift available, now is your chance to get started with Connect Appointments.

  • DAY SHIFT:
  • 8-hour shifts, with start times to suit you (8am/10am/12pm); working 5/6 days a week
  • Paid weekly at 11.55 per hour
NIGHT SHIFT:
  • 12-hour shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 8pm to 8am
  • Paid weekly at 13.28 per hour

Working as a Bakery Production Operative, your day-to-day duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Operating light machinery to produce a variety of products
  • Picking and packing finished products
  • Conducting quality checks throughout the entire process
  • Transporting trays of goods to fridges and trolleys
  • Ensuring the working area is clean and free from obstacles
  • Following company instructions and procedures
  • Any other general production duties as required

To be successful within this production role, you will ideally have previous experience within a production/manufacturing environment - with work in a food/bakery environment a distinct advantage. You will also have the following skills and traits:

  • The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • An excellent level of hygiene
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
