The Opportunity


We are seeking a Senior FM Account Lead to oversee the maintenance and operation of our company's facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, well-maintained and operating efficiently.


As the Senior FM Account Lead, you will provide leadership and direction to the account operation teams and to take budgetary responsibility of accounts allocated to you. You will manage available resources, promote an ethos of teamwork and instil a culture of continuous improvement. You will ensure the various sub-contracted service providers deliver safe and consistent services and promote a culture of safe service excellence. You will develop a relationship built on trust with the clients in addition to delivering performance data as is required.

Main Responsibilities


Service delivery - operational management of internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality of services provided are continually improved and exceed customer expectations.


Implement best practice procedures in line with Company policy and Client specified standards, for QSHEW, Quality, Environmental and technical standards.


Supply Chain Management - ensure a high level of service is achieved through robust management of suppliers and measurement of performance.


Take control and responsibility emergency situations, be the point of escalation for the Team and ensure seniors are consulted and informed.


Financial management - budget responsibility and financial reporting to the Client and Macro.


Risk management - minimise risk and maintain or improve profitability against agreed targets.


Relationship management - client and team relations.


Strategic and technical support - general advice to customers, peers and team.


Business development - identify and pursue opportunities for and with Macro.


Advise senior management of any perceived risks and mitigation actions.

Submit succinct reports to line manager, to include people, client and finance.


Produce monthly performance reports to your Client and Sector Director and be the first point of contact for all contract interfaces with the Client.


Communication - 3600 cascading information to customers, peers and team whilst keeping the Macro management team fully informed.


People management - line management of staff and through mentoring, developing, coaching and appraising.


Documentation and process - assist with the production of documents and information for the Macro management team.


Networking - keep abreast of best practice and opportunity within industry by maintaining contact with peers and contacts in the relevant sectors.


The ideal candidate will have:


Facilities management experience.


Excellent people management skills.


Business Development.


Relationship management.


Excellent communication skills.


Budgeting and financial management experience.


A qualification or experience-based accreditation in facilities management, such as MIWFM or MRICS and a NEBOSH general certificate, are also essential for this role.
