System Engineer

X4 is currently collaborating with a long-standing client who is on the look out for a Control Systems Engineer

Position Details:

Title: Control Systems Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000

Location: Guildford

Working Environment: Fully Onsite

Start Date: Immediately

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience developing model-based software
• Understanding of control theory.
• Experience with on-vehicle ECU calibration.
• Proficiency with CAN Bus interrogation and stimulation tools such as Vector CANalyzer.
• Experience developing and correlating plant models with real components for HIL and MIL testing
• Experience with software version control and documentation.
• Understanding of control hardware, CAN topology, and wiring systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated experience in the development and testing of control systems for electric vehicles.
• Experience using oscilloscopes for fault-finding is (preferred).
• Familiarity with high voltage systems and architectures (preferred).
• Reasonable to basic understanding of mechanical systems (preferred).
