Job Description

Role; Disaster Recovery Manager.

Salary; Circa £110,000

Location; Hybrid - 2x/week on-site.


Brio Digital are currently supporting a well know FinTech company who are on the lookout for a Disaster Recovery Manager.

May also be suitable for Team-Leads and upwards who are still extremely hands-on.


About the Role:

Join their team as a Disaster Recovery Manager and lead their efforts to ensure uninterrupted business operations. You'll design and implement robust disaster recovery systems, navigate complex tech challenges, and safeguard our critical operations.


Disaster Recovery Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement resilient systems to ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and lead disaster recovery plans, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
  • Design DR solutions for cloud services (AWS), ensuring they’re scalable and reliable.
  • Conduct risk assessments and automate recovery processes with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Perform rigorous testing and validation of DR plans using observability tools and chaos engineering.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation and lead recovery efforts during disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and prepare detailed performance reports.


Disaster Recovery Manager Experience:

  • A lot of experience in disaster recovery or business continuity, with leadership experience too.
  • Expertise in AWS services and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with modern architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
