HGV Class 1 Driver Opportunities Day & Night Shifts Available

Rapier Employment Ltd is currently seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers for DHL in Welham Green, Hertfordshire. We have both Day and Night Shift positions available with competitive pay rates and immediate starts.

Day Shift Details:

• Basic Rate: £20.66 per hour
• Overtime Rate: £27.48 per hour (after 46.25 hours weekly)
• Saturday Rate: £27 per hour for all hours
• Sunday Rate: £28 per hour for all hours
• Shift Schedule:

Thursday Monday or Friday Tuesday

• Start Times: Various start times available to suit
• Guaranteed Work: 5 days a week
• Plus Holiday Pay

Night Shift Details:

• Basic Rate: £24.58 per hour
• Overtime Rate: £27.48 per hour (after 46.25 hours weekly)
• Saturday Rate: £27 per hour for all hours
• Sunday Rate: £28 per hour for all hours
• Shift Schedule:

Thursday Monday or Friday Tuesday

• Start Times: Between 19:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Guaranteed Work: 5 days a week
• Plus Holiday Pay

The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 1 license, relevant experience in driving heavy goods vehicles, and a good understanding of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of products.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies as well as company policies and procedures.
• Handle roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license (Held 1 year +).
• Minimum6 month of experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• No more than six penalty points on licence and no major endorsement codes.
• In-date CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, Regulations, and Working time directive.
