Electrical Technician (EV)

Our client, a leader in developing innovative electric vehicle drivetrain systems using advanced proprietary technology, is looking to hire an Electrical Technician. This role offers the chance to be a key part of building bespoke vehicles and “kit” builds.

The Electrical Build Technician will:

• Assemble and build 12V wiring looms and harnesses with precision.
• Construct high-voltage (HV) looms to meet project requirements and safety standards.
• Conduct quality inspections on in-house and purchased looms to ensure they meet company standards.
• Document all build processes and maintain accurate records for future use.
• Assemble electrical components as needed for production and development projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in wiring harness and loom assembly.
• Experience wiring ancillary components like fuse boxes and controllers.
• The ability to specify loom lengths, routing, and retention for best performance.
• Proficiency in reading electrical engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
• A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring top quality in all work.
