Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Assistant Quantity Surveyor required!

Navartis is working with a top Civil Engineering sub contractor who operate in Highways and Infrastructure sectors and work on many prestigious major projects across the UK.

You would join their team as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in their surrey office in Reigate and work on some large infrastructure projects, involving highways, roads, paving, surfacing, drainage kerbs, asphalt and ground works.

They have completed numerous civils projects around the South of the UK and have some prestigious projects in the Greater London area that they are currently working on.

Experience required:

• Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Sector background (Desirable)
• 1 to 2 years or more experience in Quantity Surveying
• NEC 3 / NEC 4 Contract experience (Desirable)
• Strong time management
• Excellent communication skills
• Degree (Desirable)

Duties include:

• Reporting to and Assisting the Senior QS and Commercial Manager
• Managing commercials of allocated project or packages
• Dealing with and working alongside the Main Contractor
• Contract Management
• Month End reporting
• Applying NEC Contract
• Valuations & Final Accounts
• Reporting & Forecasts

My client is also open to hearing from Assistant Quantity Surveyor's who are looking for their next step up to Quantity Surveyor level.

Civil Engineering projects around London and the South East

40 hours per week

£30,000 to £40,000 depending on your experience level
