Assistant Superintendent

Position Overview
We are a multi-family developer located in Columbus, OH. We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support our construction projects in Perrysburg, OH. The main purpose of this role is to assist the Superintendent with ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in supervising and coordinating construction projects.
• Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and site-specific safety plans.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
• Assist with managing project documentation, including change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
• Communicate with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in Assistant Superintendent role in multi-family or commercial construction.
• Proven experience in managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring completion within budget and to the required standards.
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and site-specific safety plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with project stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred, but not required.
