Superintendent

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee construction projects and ensure that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of construction sites and coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage construction sites to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Develop and implement project schedules and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are working effectively and efficiently.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that projects run smoothly.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, photographs, and other documentation.
• Provide leadership and guidance to construction crews, and ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Construction Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and techniques, as well as safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in commercial, planning, blueprints or retail is a plus.
