Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Scheduler to oversee the planning and scheduling of our commercial renovation projects. The main objective of this role is to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine project timelines and ensure project milestones are met
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to schedule work activities
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including progress updates and changes
- Identify potential issues or delays and proactively work to resolve them
- Collaborate with project team to ensure resources are available to complete projects on schedule
- Create reports and presentations for management to provide updates on project status
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction scheduling
- Proficient in scheduling software, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Nice to have: experience with capital improvements, renovations, commercial, retail, apartments, and/or residential projects
