We are looking for nurses who want to join our team! Phillips House 21 is a 20-bed inpatient medicine unit committed to delivering high quality patient care that is focused on the unique, individualized needs of patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. Our nurses are highly regarded for their clinical expertise in caring for patients at every point on the adult healthcare continuum by providing compassionate, patient-centered, and highly skilled care. Our nurses are supported by strong unit-based leadership consisting of a Nurse Director and a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)/Nurse Practice Specialist (NPS). As a new nurse to the unit, you will find a very supportive environment with a personalized preceptorship. - Our patient population consists of young to older adults (age 18 to 100+) - All 20 rooms are telemetry equipped with bedside and central monitoring stations on the unit - We are located at the top of the Ellison Building, all rooms are private with stunning views of Boston - Our medical patients are admitted with issues related to their respiratory, cardiac, gastro-intestinal, endocrine, renal, immune, and neurological systems - We have partnered with the Palliative Care Service and admit patients who are in need of palliative care, acute symptom management, and goals of care discussions - Current licensure in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse required. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. - Minimum one year RN experience required. 36 hour, Day/night rotation including weekends and holidays required.
