Job Description
Position Overview: The Foreman will oversee and manage construction projects related to waste water treatment, including mechanical work and underground pipe installation. This role requires hands-on experience in construction and project management, as well as knowledge of waste water treatment processes and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
- Oversee and schedule excavation, underground pipe installation, and other mechanical work.
- Ensure compliance with waste water treatment regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor costs.
- Train and mentor team members on proper construction techniques and safety procedures.
- Manage project budget and make adjustments as needed to stay within allocated funds.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any construction issues that may arise.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in construction or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in construction
- Knowledge of waste water treatment processes and regulations.
- Experience with mechanical work and underground pipe installation.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in using construction equipment and tools.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
