Trainer Construction

Kirkwood Consulting are looking for an experienced construction accredited trainer to join our team on a freelance basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a growing company that is passionate and enthusiastic about training and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality training and functional assessments to a wide range of construction delegates across Kent and Essex.

The Role

To deliver Level 1 Health and Safety in the Construction Industry, CITB CSCS Test preparation Seminars and Health and Safety Awareness (HSA), embedding EL3 to Level 1 Maths Functional Skills. Delivery of our courses are face to face across Kent and Essex.

About You

All applicants must have excellent communication skills and be able to engage with colleagues, clients and learners with varied levels of skills, experience and knowledge, reliability and good organisational skills is essential, the successful applicant will be an integral part of the existing team.

Applicants must also havethe following:

• A formal training qualification, equivalent to a Level 3 Award in education and training (AET) or Level 4 Certificate of teaching in the lifelong sector (CTLLS).
• GCSE A to C in Maths and English is essential.
• Current experience of teaching construction skills within the FE or Employability Sector.
• Current Enhanced DBS check.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An excellent work ethic with the ability to work under pressure.
• Training will be face to face; however, they may be instances in which some online training will be required.

Job Types: Full-Time, Freelance

Salary: £200.00 per day
