Yr 2 maternity cover Teacher

Pearson Whiffin Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Supply Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Medway. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a class of 7-year-olds. This is a temporary maternity cover position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
• Working collaboratively with the school team
• Adhering to school policies and procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Year 2 or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Knowledge of specific teaching methods or approaches (e.g., Phonics, Maths strategies)
• Familiarity with Pearson Whiffin's values and ethos
