Job Description

Are you an experienced training professional, keen to support diverse and varied clients reach their best potential as managers? Our client is looking to grow their business by bringing on board a trainer to deliver their core management development offering on a part time basis.

Our Client
Our client first came to life in 2013, set up by former HR consultant, the company delivers training and coaching programmes to support the wellbeing of their clients' people and bring a positive culture to business.

Typically working with highly technical SMEs in the IT, biotech, pharmaceutical and academic fields, our client merges skills from the worlds of HR and therapy to offer a pragmatic approach to supporting good mental health and wellbeing. Based in Cambridge, our client offers support online or in-person to businesses across the UK.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Learning & Development Specialist to join their team. This role is focused on delivering training programmes for clients managers.
Delivering Institute of Leadership accredited workshops to managers at various levels, both in-person and online
Working alongside the company owner to develop additional training programmes that address the needs of our clients
Create engaging training materials, including presentations, workbooks, e-learning modules and interactive activities
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in people management and incorporate them into the curriculum
Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes
Utilise a variety of training techniques to accommodate different learning styles
Identify additional client training needs and facilitate sales meetings for the company owner
Provide one-on-one coaching and support to managers to help them apply learned concepts to their roles, as needed
The role will develop over time and therefore this list is not exhaustive.
The CandidateThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering training to management professionals and the ability to inspire and engage learners.

Essential:
Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programmes
Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with a diverse audience
Proficiency in using training software and e-learning platforms
Active listening skills
Humour, warmth, integrity, openness
Ability to give and receive feedback with grace and dignity

Desirable:
If you are an experienced MHFA Trainer this will be beneficial
NLP / Coaching qualification
The Terms
This is a new position and therefore able to offer flexibility to the right candidate. Ideally working 3 days per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs), roughly 8.30 until 5pm. The role offers development within a small team and involvement in the future and direction of the business. A salary of circa £45K FTE is available along with core benefits.

The position will be delivering training on a face-to-face basis and when not delivering it would be beneficial to spend time in our clients offices in Papworth.
