Production Forklift Operator

MDH Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Operator with a full valid Forklift License for our clients exceptional production site based just outside ofLesmahagow, South Lanarkshire.

This is a full time role. Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm however during the training period hours will be 8am - 4pm. Flexibility is required regarding start times. This can be fully discussed with you during interview.No weekend work.

Rate of pay is £12 an hour while in training. This will increase to £12.50 on successful completion of training (appx 6 weeks).Weekly pay.

During peak period (October to January) there may be a requirement to work occasional or 12 hours shifts. You will be paid an enhanced rate for this.

**There is absolutely no public transport that goes to this site, so have having access to a vehicle is essential. **

Duties include:

• You will monitor equipment to ensure the quality and efficiency of the plant via the control room.
• You will be responsible for the safe operation and troubleshooting of the facility's equipment and instruments

Experience in overseeing production processes in manufacturing plants would be a big plus. If you have good production aptitude and can problem solve you will be ideal for this job.
