Job Description

Our client, a conservation charity hasa perfect opportunity for a Trading Assistant - Kitchen Porter to help their kitchen team at their Wetland Centre in London. With no split shifts and only occasional evening working their friendly team are ready to welcome you to the pond.

Location: London, SW13
Salary: £20,514 per annum (FTE £25,643)
Vacancy Type: Permanent, part-time position working 30 hours a week, 5 days out of 7 including weekends and bank holidays.

About The Role

Working in London you can actually make a difference to conserving the planet. Reducing the worlds impact on climate change, whilst inspiring visitors and encouraging them to get closer to nature by providing outstanding hospitality is their number one priority.

Working as their Kitchen Porter, you will help them to create and develop an inspirational kitchen environment that consistently delivers a high standard of food for the onsite café and secondary outlet. You will be responsible for making sure the kitchen is sparkling clean and support the chefs with small food preparation. You might be at times ask to support their Front of House team on occasion

About You

To join them as their Trading Assistant - Kitchen Porter within their kitchen team you will be a focussed team player, with a good eye for detail. You will love to keep everything squeaky clean and look forward to learning more about the running of the kitchen from their chefs.

Previous experience of working in a similar role is not essential as we'll provide you with all the necessary training to set you up for success in your role with opportunities for development.
