Back of House Attendant

What you will do

• Assist in the maintenance, cleanliness and sanitisation of the kitchens, back of house and restaurant areas
• Remove and dispose of all rubbish and carry out general cleaning tasks as instructed
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals
• Participate in periodic deep cleaning of the kitchen, including equipment, storage areas, and hard-to-reach spaces, to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are consistently maintained
• Perform scheduled weekly cleaning tasks such as cleaning and sanitising refrigerators, freezers, ovens, and other kitchen appliances
• Perform other duties as needed

Who you are

• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Good timekeeping
• Ability to work in a team as well as alone
• Previous experience working within a 5-star hotel is desirable
