Service Delivery Manager

Due to the continued success and expansion of Magdalene we have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager . The Service Delivery Manager will own and manage the delivery of small to large / complex customer solutions through the effective coordination of internal Magdalene delivery teams and external third-party delivery partners.

This is a hybrid role, balancing working from home and spending time in the office in Warwick/Wokingham, with your colleagues, team, and internal stakeholders.

Who are we?

Magdalene operates as a Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. Covering the full network lifecycle, we deliver Managed Services and Projects for both fixed and mobile infrastructure networks across the operator and utility markets.

The role & responsibilities:

You will also support and engage closely with the customers project team. The Service Delivery Manager will be the single point of contact for all deliverables within the projects, meet required quality levels, budgets, and timescales.

You will:

• Manage a variety of products.
• Typically managing several concurrent projects at a time, dependent on size and complexity.
• Manage all communications on the project
• At a minimum host a weekly internal and external customer call, with face-to-face customer meetings as needed.
• Provide regular internal reports and external customer reports when requested.
• Identify and Manage Risks, Issues, Actions and Dependencies throughout the lifecycle of the product
• Cost Tracking, Budget, and Forecasting. Ensuring the business and customer know when to expect charges/revenues
• Adhere to Change Control Procedure
• Report time spent on the project against what has been sold to the customer

What we need from you:

Desirable

• Will be skilled and experienced in the Microsoft Office suite
• Strong understanding of H&S regulations and ability to implement on Telecoms projects.
• Understanding of CDM (2015)
• Confident and able to liaise and influence across all levels within the Business, the Customer, and suppliers with proven in experience in managing challenging stakeholders

• A self-sufficient, flexible, and driven individual who can work to high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and organisation.
• Experience of delivering through matrix management to continuously achieve high performance
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Track record of successful team leadership and delivery.
• Have the experience to influence key stakeholders at all levels in the business.
• Take responsibility for and challenge existing policies and procedures.
• To be instrumental in identifying improvements and creating future strategies.
• Demonstrate an awareness of business and contractual agreements and ensuring procedures and processes are reviewed when required.
• The ability to always communicate effectively and professionally.
• Track record of customer service delivery.
• Quick to learn new processes and systems.
• A team player with the ability to work independently.
