Your mission with us

— Position : Senior Water Treatment Engineers

— Type of contract : Permanent contract

— Localisation : La Défense, Ile de France

— Starting date : as soon as possible

Environment :

• Energy Transition (green hydrogen and derivatives, carbon capture, etc.)
• Petrochemicals and plastic recycling
• Chemical and biochemical industries
• Gas and LNG

Key Involvements in Projects:

• Organizing and supervising teams of Process Engineers
• Reviewing preliminary design calculations and deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, process data sheets, narratives, etc.)
• Monitoring progress and managing budgets
• Identifying and evaluating optimized solutions for industrial water (cooling water, demineralized water) and potable water production from sea and surface water, as well as the treatment and recycling of industrial effluents
• Collaborating with Technology Managers, Engineering Specialists, Estimating Engineers, and Technology Licensors
• Conducting technical evaluations of Water Treatment equipment suppliers during the bidding phase and after procurement

You are a qualified Engineer (or equivalent) with a background in Chemical Engineering and have at least 8 years of professional experience in Engineering within the field of Process Water Treatment. Experience in the Oil and Gas sector is a plus.

You possess a deep understanding of key water treatment technologies, including filtration, membrane technologies, ion exchange, chemical conditioning, physico-chemical and biological treatments, advanced oxidation, and evaporation.

You are autonomous, pragmatic, and rigorous, with a creative and responsive approach. This role requires a strong sense of teamwork, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural client environment.

Experience in leading teams of junior process engineers is an asset.

Proficiency in professional English is mandatory.
