Management Accountant

An excellent opportunity for a part quailed or newly qualified accountant to join a private equity portfolio business based in Harrogate.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller the Management Accountant will be responsible for performing financial analysis and producing high quality monthly management accounts for a 15m turnover entity whilst also acting as line manager for one account assistant.

The position could perhaps suit a first move into industry, or a management accountant seeking a role where they can progress within a professional and driven work environment.

Main duties of the role:

• Producing timely monthly management accounts.
• Preparing comprehensive budgets and forecast in line with company and group requirements
• Investigate and provide commentary for variances to budget, forecast and past years performance..
• Regular cashflow forecasting and maintaining an awareness of business cash position.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Working to implement and improve processes and controls within the business.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 +
