We're Hiring: Telecoms Surveyor for CityFibre FTTH Infill Design Project

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented surveyor looking to make an impact in the telecoms industry? Join our client, a dynamic team working on the CityFibre FTTH Infill Design project, where you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of fibre networks by providing accurate and comprehensive site information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough site surveys, capturing detailed information on poles, chambers, and existing infrastructure.
• Take high-quality photographs of network elements according to our Survey Photo Guidance.
• Evaluate the suitability of Openreach PIA infrastructure for network integration.
• Accurately record and report survey findings, including measurements and observations.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure smooth project progress.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of CheckedSafe (training provided).

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years of experience in telecoms surveying or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of FTTH network components.
• Proficiency in using survey equipment and data tools.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Great communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant health and safety certifications.

Desired Skills:

· Previous experience in a surveyor role on the CityFibre Network is incredibly beneficial.

· Experience with QField or similar mapping software.

· Knowledge of Openreach PIA products and processes.

· Familiarity with CityFibre's design principles and architecture.
