Position Purpose

The Sales Manager overall is responsible for developing sustainable and profitable long term 5G Private Networks contracts with enterprise and public sector customers.

The Sales Manager specifically is responsible for acquiring new customers and establishing relationships with strategic customers and partners to realise their full potential for the growth of our MPN business. Additionally, they will lead the development and growth of new business, understanding the customer’s organisation, industry vertical and operations to create value through our connectivity solutions and maximizing revenue generation.


The Sales Manager will operate in a fast-moving environment and will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support the consolidation of existing and development of new services.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new customers within agreed geographical and vertical market sectors
  • Understanding customer business challenges and mobile connectivity requirements that can be addressed with 5G Private Networks
  • Engagement at CxO level within opportunities to develop compelling solutions and commercial models
  • Manage opportunities and pipeline effectively through Salesforce
  • Lead and manage internal stakeholder relationships for success proposals and responses to ITT’s
  • Collaborate closely with various internal teams such as Pre-sales, Project Management, Global Engineering and Operations and channelling them to the customers to ensure the resolution of the business challenges
  • Managing end-to-end contracts negotiation
  • Representing the company and promoting our connectivity solutions in the events and media of the industry/country
  • Provide innovative solutions to the customer needs and propose and implement best practices as outlined in ‘The Way We Work.’


What is needed for the role:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales or Business Development (hunter approach preferred)
  • Experience of working in some of the following industry areas: telecommunications, manufacturing, mining, refineries, power plants and other process industries
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead teams, of both internal and external cross-functional partners, without direct management authority (matrix management)
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, prioritisation and multi-tasking skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Working knowledge in: 5G & 4G, RAN
  • Fluent in English - other European languages are a plus
