Job Summary:


The QA BD Test Engineer will be responsible for building and updating Level 5 (L5) tests in SpecFlow, resolving data seeding issues, addressing test failures, and working closely with customers to approve necessary L5 changes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities to ensure the integrity and quality of our business data.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Build and Update L5 Tests:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Level 5 (L5) tests in SpecFlow.
  • Ensure test coverage for all business data scenarios and requirements.
  • Continuously improve test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resolve Data Seeding Issues:
  • Identify and troubleshoot data seeding issues that affect test execution.
  • Collaborate with development and database teams to resolve data-related problems.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent data seeding for reliable test results.
  • Address Test Failures:
  • Investigate and analyze test failures to identify root causes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement fixes.
  • Document and report defects, ensuring proper tracking and resolution.
  • Customer Collaboration:
  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and approve necessary L5 changes.
  • Communicate test results and findings to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Gather feedback from customers to continuously improve testing processes and deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all tests meet the required quality standards and business requirements.
  • Perform regular reviews and audits of test cases to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and testing."
