Test Automation Engineer - Python / LabVIEW

An experienced Test Automation Engineer is sought by this leading wireless communications organisation to be based at their R+D Centre in Edinburgh. The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for hardware and software test validation for emerging wireless communications systems. Working closely with the hardware development team the Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for automating test software using Python and LabVIEW for hardware (chip) validation including analysing post test data. The Test Automation Engineer should be happy supporting validation regressions and performing some lab-based hardware testing.

Your skills and experience will include hands of chip level (SoC) test and validation. You will have extensive Python and LabVIEW knowledge coupled with a successful track record delivering test automation software aimed at hardware validation. Any exposure to TestStand, Testbed validation or embedded software development in C would be beneficial. Software or firmware skills gained putting together some validation testcases and any lab-based hardware testing would also be useful.
