We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to join our enthusiastic team.

The role is best suited to someone who has previous kitchen / kitchen management / sous chef experience, or a chef who has worked within the industry and looking for the next step up in their career. Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

You will be working closely with our Head Chef and Kitchen Team supporting them with the day to day running of our kitchen. Our food is all cooked from fresh so the ideal candidate would have a background in fresh produce. There will also be opportunities for you to have an input with your own dishes on our menu.

Key Duties:-
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide leadership in the absence of the Head Chef
- Assist in food preparation, including cooking, seasoning, and plating
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation
- Ensure adherence to culinary standards and food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items
- Support inventory management and ordering of supplies

Experience Preferable:-
- Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Sous Chef or similar position
- Proficiency in various food preparation techniques and culinary skills
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including equipment usage and maintenance
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced hospitality environment
