Bench Hand Joiner | Loughborough | Up to £18 per hour + Overtime
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise in joinery to produce bespoke wood products and components, such as doors, windows, retail displays, other custom wood fittings. Youll work with a variety of material using both hand tools and machines when required.
The majority of the 28 people working on the shop floor have been working together from the same manufacturing facility for several years. There is a strong sense of togetherness throughout the team, and everybody grafts. Directors and Investors saved the jobs of all these people not so long back, and it is exciting for everyone they are growing by diversifying into new
markets.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Having your own kit with an array of saws, chisels, planers would be highly advantageous.

- Company based in Loughborough 30 minutes drive from Leicester, 35 minutes drive from Nottingham, and 45 minutes drive from Derby.
- Salary up to £18 per hour + Overtime (1.5x avg. of 5 hours p/ week)
- Working on a days only shift pattern Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM and a 1PM finish on Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Working with machinery such as spindle moulders, overhead routers, panel saws, dimensional saws, sanders and more.
- Experience with hand laminating and the ability to work on complex, manually built projects without machinery will be highly advantageous.

Benefits:
- Overtime opportunities. There are no guarantees, but workload is busy, orders are strong and there may be periods where regular chance for time and one half paid overtime after 40 hours worked is available. There may be times they really hope you will work it because there are customers relying on them delivering at short notice.
