Job Description

The Quality Coordinator is responsible forensuring that company products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. You will oversee quality control procedures, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and report on metrics such as defect rates, customer complaints, and product returns.

You will ensure that compliance to site standards / set procedures are adhered to. Ensure the smooth day to day running of the technical functions. Supporting the quality manager in all aspects of the job, ensuring that the high level of customer service we provide is maintained. You will be a role model for best practice at all times, and provide support to management where appropriate.

An understanding of product safety and health and safety requirements is essential.

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 9-5

Salary: £23,000-£26,000 DOE

What will you be doing?

  • To Audit internal processes and procedures to maintain local standarts: MHRA, BRCGS, ISO9001 and be involved in external site audits.
  • To manage, control and monitor Quality incidents reporting and instigate action where needed. This would include to be involved in Root cause analysis and ansure CAPA close outs.
  • To meet the customer needs in all areas of quality related requests and issues
  • Provide the day to day review of the Quality Systems and support to the Production Department
  • To analyse and be involved in the continual improvement of Great Bear Processes
  • To train and brief new procedures/processes to relevant personnel
  • To monitor and assist the training team with the Nvolve platform.
  • To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
  • To assist in H&S processes and reviews
  • To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post
Qualifications
  • Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
  • Have the ability to identify and suggest improvements to benefit both GBD and our customer
  • PC Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Should demonstrate the drive and desire to progress
  • Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns
  • A clear understanding of the customer requirements ensuring that all queries are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Able to work as part of a team and to clearly demonstrate a professional attitude towards all colleagues.
  • An organised and focused approach to all administrative duties.
