Manufacturing Engineer – New Vehicle Launch

Expleo is seeking an experienced Automotive Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility focused on high-performance road vehicles. The successful candidate will manage the processes and complexities of building new models, from initial concept designs through prototype stages to series production.

Key Responsibilities of Manufacturing Engineer – New Vehicle Launch:

• Support cross-functional business activities, including concept/design reviews, engineering release delivery, and DFMEA.
• Transition from virtual environment validation to physical validation and delivery.
• Develop process sequencing, documentation, and product traceability methodologies.
• Align new models with existing series products and future brand evolution strategies (PFMEA).
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks in collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams.
• Lead the design of new layouts and material flow or amend existing ones to ensure alignment with the facility’s overall plan and vision.

Skills & Experience required for the Manufacturing Engineer – New Vehicle Launch role:

• Degree in mechanical/automotive engineering or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Experience in planning and executing new vehicle programs.
• Ability to identify and resolve product-related issues while ensuring quality targets are met.
• Previous experience with complex vehicle systems, vehicle assembly processes, trim and final processes, and end-of-line vehicle processing/finishing is highly desirable.
