Learning and Development Consultant

My client is looking for a Learning and Development Partner/Consultant/Manager to join on an initial 9 month fixed-term basis.

This role is working within the Financial Services sector and will report into the Head of Learning and Development. The role is based in the City of London.

Responsibilities:

• Management of a team of 3.
• Design and oversee the company induction programme.
• Work with the broader HR team and key stakeholders across the business to identify learning needs.
• Manage and oversee the apprenticeship/internship schemes.
• Partner with the D&I Lead to manage and support programmes relevant to the D&I strategy.
• Liaise with third party suppliers and internal subject matter experts to keep course content up to date.
• Identify coaching and mentoring requirements in development discussions with the HR team and business leadership teams.
• Ensure that regular analysis is conducted across all training delivery and development programmes in order to measure ROI.
• Regularly research and conduct best practice reviews looking at learning and development innovation, assessing their fit for the business
• Represent Learning and Development on significant business change programmes (where required) and ensure the learning needs are identified and delivered in line with the agreed project plans
• Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to.

Profile Characteristics:

• Proven experience as an L&D Manager / Partner / Consultant.
• Prior team management/leadership.
• A background in a relevant (ideally) regulated environment (Financial Services / Professional Services etc).
• Excellent facilitation skill.
• Proven stakeholder relationship history - ideally from the learning needs analysis stage.
