Job Description

You will play a critical role in steering the financial health of their dealership network and contributing to the company's long-term success. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Management: Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the group's overall business goals. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making at the executive level. Oversee the financial performance of multiple dealerships, ensuring consistency and alignment with group objectives. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all dealerships, consolidating results at the group level. Prepare detailed financial analyses, including profitability, cost management, and variance analysis. Present financial results and forecasts to the CEO and executive team, highlighting key trends and opportunities. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process for the dealership network, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and timelines. Monitor and manage financial performance against budgets, providing regular updates and reforecasts to the CEO. Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity across the dealership network, ensuring optimal use of financial resources. Oversee treasury functions, including funding strategies and internal controls, to support business operations. Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, laws, and corporate governance standards. Manage internal and external audits, maintaining a strong internal control environment to ensure clean audit outcomes. Financial Systems & Process Improvement: Maintain and enhance financial systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency in financial operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve financial performance. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealership managers, external auditors, and financial institutions. Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing clear and actionable financial insights. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring alignment with group objectives and fostering a culture of excellence. Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and ensure ongoing training and professional development. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Completed CA(SA) or CIMA. 7-10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the automotive industry or multi-unit business environment. Proven track record in managing financial operations at a group level, with experience in dealership networks being a strong advantage. Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
