Financial Accountant

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounting functions of the business and assisting the financial manager daily. Duties and Responsibilities: Collect, analyse and summarise account information from various subsidiaries Capture financial information provided by various subsidiaries Perform financial reconciliations, including but not limited to bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations Tax computations and co-ordinating information between subsidiaries and tax consultants Conduct month-end and year-end procedures Prepare monthly reports, such as but not limited to Balance Sheet and Income Statements Account for intra-group transactions and eliminations Skills and Qualifications: BCom Accounting Degree 3 years in an accounting role Exposure in a financial services space would be advantageous Sage Evolution would be ideal
