Mechanical R&D Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical R&D Engineer to engage in the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects, from concept through to prototype and production, and requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for innovation. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components. Create detailed 3D models, simulations, and prototypes to test and validate design concepts. Research and Innovation: Conduct research to explore new technologies and materials that can enhance product performance and reliability. Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate new techniques into design processes. Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to evaluate the performance and durability of mechanical systems. Analyze test results and make necessary design adjustments to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with standards. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure successful integration of mechanical systems into overall product designs. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Experience in mechanical design and development, preferably within a research and development setting. Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA), FEA tools, and other mechanical design and simulation tools.
