Embedded Hardware Engineer

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded hardware systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to projects that push the boundaries of embedded systems design. Key Responsibilities: Hardware Design: Design and develop embedded hardware systems, including PCBs, microcontrollers, and integrated circuits. Create detailed schematics, layout designs, and documentation. Development: Develop and integrate embedded hardware components with software systems. Ensure seamless functionality and performance across various applications. Testing and Debugging: Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of hardware prototypes. Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues. Optimization: Optimize hardware designs for performance, reliability, and cost. Evaluate and select appropriate components and technologies to meet project requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with firmware engineers, software developers, and other team members to ensure cohesive system integration. Participate in cross-functional project meetings and reviews. Compliance: Ensure that hardware designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies in embedded hardware. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the product lifecycle. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Advanced Degrees or Certifications in embedded systems or hardware design are a plus. Experience: Minimum years of experience in embedded hardware design, with a proven track record of successful projects. Skills: Proficiency in hardware design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad). Strong understanding of microcontrollers, digital and analog circuitry, and PCB design. Experience with embedded systems development, including interfacing with sensors, communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C), and power management. Familiarity with hardware debugging tools and techniques. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of electronics and embedded systems, including experience with hardware-software integration. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues effectively.
