Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Physiologist to join our Clinic at PwC for a 5 -month fixed-term contract (FTC).
About the role:
Working for Embankment Place Primary Healthcare Ltd, you will have a structured but varied day consisting of appointments with partners, directors, former partners, self-pay clients, and adolescents over the age of 13. These appointments will largely be for Standard Physiology Assessments, which include the completion of an Exercise ECG with a Fitness Assessment and a Lung Function Test. Occasionally, an Enhanced Physiology Assessment may be required, involving the completion of an FTP test, a VO2 Max test, or a Metabolic test.

What your day will look like:
- Carry out an exercise ECG, a battery of fitness tests, and a lung function test as part of a Standard Physiology Assessment.
- Carry out a VO2 Max test, an FTP test, or a Metabolic test as part of an Enhanced Physiology Assessment.
- Complete reports for exercise ECG, resting ECG, VO2 Max test, FTP test, and Metabolic test as necessary.
- Input patient data via Fitech software and complete Fitech reports as necessary, as well as upload appropriate reports to the electronic health system (Semble).
This role is for you if:
- You have a degree in Sports Science or an international equivalent.
- You have previous health screening experience within a similar clinical role.
- You possess experience in carrying out resting and exercise ECGs, lung function testing, VO2 Max tests, or FTP tests.
- You have an understanding and the ability to support patients reporting mental health concerns.
- You are adaptable and able to meet changing working patterns and caseloads, working independently as well as within a team.
- You have an interest in lifestyle medicine and health promotion, as well as care and empathy with a passion for delivering a patient-centered service.
